So you should all know about this wonderful student run acapella group I've heard of.. see.. it's all girls from BHS.. and they sing all these really cool songs.. and they rock.. and yeah.. here they are!

Also: There are auditions for spots in our group on wednesday the 17th after school in the choral room. Two of our tenors will be leaving the group for the rest of the school year, as far as we know. One bass will be leaving next year as well so we welcome the newcomers! We are currently auditioning for 6 spots in the group.

Here are our two lovely sopranos, Robin Brown and Becca Dewitt. Both of these chicas bonitas are in Camerata already. They both sing the part of first soprano. Becca is our soloist for the song "Free Fallin'" by Tom Petty and Robin is one of our two soloists for "Seasons of Love" from the musical RENT.

These lovely ladies would be the altos for our group: Tanya Makhlina, Adriana Sugrue, and myself Adriana Saldana. All of us are in camerata as well as Note - A- Fy, where Tanya sings the part of first soprano, and both Adrianas sing the part of second soprano. Adriana Sugrue is a featured soloist for "Be My Baby" by the Ronnetts, taught to our group by the Boston College Sharps. The altos split parts for several of our songs to provide the necessary parts, Sugrue with Makhlina and then myself.

The tenor section is made up by these gorgeous gals, Frances Brandt, Emma Keogh, and Molly Paris. Frances is not a member of Camerata however she is part of the BHS blues and jazz choir. She is the other featured soloist for "Seasons of Love". Emma Keogh is a second soprano in Camerata and sings the solo for "Ella's Song" by Sweet Honey In The Rock. She will be leaving during the second semester for mountain school and will hopefully be returning next year. Molly Paris is an alto in Camerata and sang the solo for "Be My Baby" at a T block assembly on the ninth. She is transferring schools and will temporarily be absent from the group.

May I present our beautiful basses, Lena Crandell, Sarai Methven, and Celine Sparrow. Lena is the only member of our choir who is not a member of a highschool choir. She is a senior and so she will be leaving for college next year. Sarai is an alto in Camerata as is Celine. Celine is the soloist for our song "Goodnight Sweetheart", our first completed song and our most polished.
